The 29th month-long Chittagong International Trade Fair (CITF) is starting at the city's polo ground after two years due to the global epidemic. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi will inaugurate the fair on May 31 at 3:30 pm. Chittagong Chamber President Mahbubul Alam made the announcement at a press conference at the Bangabandhu Conference Hall of the World Trade Center in Agrabad on Sunday (May 29). The president of the chamber said that there will be Bangabandhu pavilion in the fair with the help of lighthouse. More than 310 companies with 16 Premier Pavilions, 33 Premier Stalls, 99 Gold Stalls, 46 Mega Stalls, 14 Food Stalls and 2 separate zones will take part in the fair covering an area of 4 lakh square feet. Among them India, Thailand, Iran will display different products. The open plaza will be 12,320 square feet. There will be a children's recreation center of 3 thousand square feet. The fair will run every day from 10 am to 10 pm. Tickets are 15 rupees per person. Free tickets are available for 8th grade students from Play.
